Biography: Born in Brisbane, Australia, Professor Mansfield has been a pilot since 2017. He holds both CASA and FAA Commercial Helicopter Pilot's Licenses, FAA Flight Instructor, Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor Ratings. His flying experience includes tourism and charter work in the Sunshine Coast and Darwin regions of Australia. His education includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Sunshine Coast and a Bachelor of Aviation Management from Griffith University. After completing his commercial license, he taught commercial ground school in Australia and currently teaches Meteorology, Aviation Safety, Private Pilot, Human Factors and several other online classes at MGA. He has been an Assistant Professor in the Aviation Science and Management department since January 2024.
