| Biography: | I am graduate of Albany State University where I earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Columbus State University where I earned a Master’s degree in Public/Justice Administration. I also have doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from University of Phoenix. I started my teaching part-time at MGA in August of 2016. I am a full-time employee of the Georgia Department of Corrections. I began my career with the Department in 2000 at Calhoun State Prison as a Counselor. From 2001 to 2008, I served as Probation Officer I, II and III. In 2008, I was promoted to Program Development Consultant of the Sex Offender Administration Unit. I transferred to Autry State Prison in 2009 and served as the Deputy Warden of Care and Treatment. In 2012, I was appointed Warden of Burruss Correctional Training Center. In 2013 I was promoted to Deputy Personnel Director of Corrections Human Resources Management. In 2014 I transferred to Facility Operations as a Management Specialist. In October 2016, I was promoted to the Manager of the Special Projects Unit, and July 1, 2018 I was promoted to Deputy Director of Facilities Admin Support. December 1, 2021 I was promoted to Director of Facilities Admin Support. |
