About Us

MISSION AND PROGRAM

The mission of the Department of Media, Culture, and the Arts (MCA) is to build on a solid foundation in the liberal arts to guide students toward their academic goals and prepare them for a global, culturally diverse society. MCA coursework develops student expertise in the visual arts and music; in creative, digital, and professional writing; in culture, gender, and media studies; and in modern language.
