The BS in Information Technology program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, .
Through its School of Information Technology, Middle Georgia State has been designated:
- A National Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Education & Awareness Branch
- A National Center of Digital Forensics - Academic Excellence by the U.S. Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center
MGA B.S. in Information Technology -- Bossier Parish CC Transfer
The program includes seven concentrations: Cyber Forensics, Cybersecurity, Critical infrastructure, Integrated Digital Media & Game Design, Network Technologies & Administration, Software Engineering, and Web Applications Development. Eligible Bossier Parish CC students interested in Middle Georgia State’s 4-year IT degree program will be able to seamlessly transfer their coursework (60 plus hours) and complete their degree online.
